About us
Akres is a restaurant that expresses a postmodern eclecticism that transfers the essence of the local culinary tradition of Rhodes and Lindos to the present, through a modern -almost futuristic, approach. For us nothing is old or outdated. The deeper the roots, and the more tried the recipes are, the more exciting is their transformation into a modern fine dining experience. Plates with daring but harmonious balances that intertwine the treasures of the sea with the fruits of the earth are dedicated to those that can appreciate the culinary culture of Greece and are not willing to settle with anything other than the best.

Lindos was once a strong naval force as well as home to Cleobulus, one of the Seven Sages of ancient Greece. The picturesque fishing village is now designated a national monument due to its Acropolis, which dominates the scenery from 116m high. Lovers of art and culture from all around the world consider it an honor to tread the alleys of this magical place and feel a part of this corner of the Dodecanese.
